The starting point
Seeing the potential.
An ageing residential property, largely closed and only occasionally occupied, needed a comprehensive renewal before it could welcome holiday guests.

The story
A sense of place.
A new perspective.
Oakwood began as an old, dilapidated residence, used only occasionally and locked for much of the year. Taken on lease in its existing condition, the property became a complete renovation project: a luxury holiday home with inviting interiors and places to gather, indoors and out.
In Landour, Mussoorie, forested slopes and changing mountain light give the retreat its sense of place. Shared living areas and outdoor sitting spaces across the levels make that setting part of everyday life in the home.

to the finished home.
The finished project
Bringing it to life.
Civil work, restructuring and complete interiors brought the home back into use. New common living areas and outdoor seating at every level created more opportunities to spend time together, alongside the supply of materials and equipment needed to complete the home.
